Welcome to Gliglish, a service provided by Click & Speak Pte. Ltd. These terms of use apply to your use of Gliglish and all related services (“Services”), as well as the privacy policy in use for the Services. Please read these terms carefully before using the service. By using the Services, you agree to be bound by these terms and any additional terms that may be presented to you as you use the service. If you do not understand or agree to these terms, please do not use the Services.

Age: Our Services are designed for a general audience and are not specifically aimed at children. In the United States, children under 13 are not permitted to use our Services without parental consent. In other regions, local laws may require parental consent for children below a certain age. Please ensure you have this consent if it's required where you live.

Content Policy: we do not allow the following types of content and topics on our Services: hate; harassment; violence; self-harm; sexual; political influence and campaigning; spam; deception; malware. Users found trying to generate this type of content will have their accounts terminated without compensation.

Personal Data We Collect: When you use the Services, we may collect personal information such as your name and email address. In order to provide the Services, we also collect personal information including voice recordings and their transcriptions; responses of the artificial intelligence to your input; reference texts used to assess the quality of your pronunciation; translations; and the conversations you have with the Services. We may also collect information about your device and your interactions with the Services, including IP address and device identifier.

How We Use Personal Data: We use the personal data we collect to provide and improve the Services. This includes responding to your requests, personalizing your experience, and analyzing usage trends. We may also use your personal data to communicate with you, such as to send you updates or newsletters.

Review of Personal Data: In order to improve the Services, we may review the conversations and personal data collected through the use of the Services. This includes voice recordings and transcriptions. Please be aware that any sensitive information shared in your conversations could be accessed and reviewed as part of this process; you agree not to share any sensitive or confidential information through the Services.

Sharing of Personal Data: We may share your personal data with service providers who assist us in providing and improving the Services. We may share personal data with third parties in certain circumstances, such as to comply with legal obligations or to protect the security and integrity of our Services.

Period of Storing: We will retain your personal data for as long as necessary to provide you with the Services and to comply with legal obligations. You can request access to and/or deletion of your data. Deleting your data may prevent related features from working. For example, deleting all of your voice recordings will prevent playback functions from working.

Equipment: It is your responsibility to have a stable Internet connection and properly configured microphone for using our service. We cannot be held responsible for any issues that may arise due to your Internet connection or microphone not working properly. By using our service, you acknowledge and accept that it is your responsibility to have a functional Internet connection and microphone.

Prices and credits: The prices for our Services are listed on the sales page. On the date of your monthly subscription anniversary, you will receive the amount of credits indicated in your subscription. Any unused credits from the previous month will not roll over into the next month. Credits are consumed as follows. 1 credit is charged for each of the following actions: when a message is sent; when a message is received; when a translation is requested; when suggestions are received. 2 credits are charged per pronunciation assessment. New features may be introduced in the future that will also consume credits.

No Refunds: All purchases of our Service are final and non-refundable. By purchasing, you waive your right to a refund.

Cookies and Similar Technologies: We use cookies and similar technologies to run the Services. These technologies help us understand how users interact with the Services, enable us to improve the user experience, and allow us to use analytics products to analyze usage trends. By using the Services, you consent to the collection and use of this information for these purposes.

Your Account: Your account is strictly personal. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activities that occur under your account. Please keep your account password secure; do not share it with others.

No Duplicate Accounts or System Abuse: You are not allowed to create multiple accounts with the intention of exploiting our free services. We treat system abuse seriously and will suspend or terminate any accounts involved in such activities. If we suspend or terminate your account, you will lose access to the service and forfeit any unused credits. If you suspect that another user is abusing the system, please report this to us immediately. Any abuse may be reported to appropriate law enforcement authorities.

No Spam Reports: If you no longer wish to receive emails from us, please use the unsubscribe link found at the bottom of our emails or contact us directly to remove your email address from our list. We kindly ask you not to report our emails as spam. If we find that our emails are marked as spam, we may impose penalties on your account, including suspension or termination. Your cooperation helps us maintain an efficient communication system.

Account Suspension, Blocking, and Termination: We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to suspend, block or terminate your account without notice or explanation, if we believe it may be in violation of these Terms or any other policies, or is otherwise harmful to our Services or our users. In the event of suspension, blocking, or termination, you will lose access to the Services, and your account details and all associated content could be removed or restricted. This includes any content or data associated with your account. We are under no obligation to disclose the details of our investigation and decision process regarding any suspected violations.

Good Faith: We will make every effort to provide the Services in good faith and to the best of our ability. However, we do not guarantee that the Services will always be accurate or available.

You should always exercise caution and judgment in using artificial intelligence and any content generated by it.
