Biography
I'm Fabien Snauwaert, the one-man college dropout operation behind Gliglish. I grew up speaking French, then learned English as a teen by being utterly addicted to playing video games. But my spoken English sucked, because of the bias for text prevalent in classroom language education.
I've been fixing my English ever since and creating products to learn English since 2007. I helped thousands of people learn English through a leading ESL website in France. A good teacher keeps learning, so I learned Spanish (intermediate), Russian (upper intermediate), and Hungarian (advanced) while traveling the world as a digital nomad 🎒.
Gliglish is my first product to teach languages besides English. I want to make the joy of learning a language through speech available to everyone and I’m working hard at it 💪
